Snoop Dogg – UK Tour
04.03.2014 – Snoop Dogg aka Snoop Lion announced his first UK dates of the year and will join his UK fans in June. The American superstar will gig at the Brixton Academy and the Parklife Festival in Manchester on June 5th and 7th.
Snoop Dogg announced his Brixton gig on June 5th and will join Wretch 32 and BBC Radio 1 and 1Xtra DJ Mistajam. The American rapper is known for his unique concerts. Tracks like “What’s My Name”, “The Next Episode”, “Gin and Juice” and “Drop It Like It’s Hot” made Snoop Dogg world famous and to the artist he is today.
“Reincarnated” is Snoop Doggs new reggae-influenced album. The reggae is a move away from hip hop and his first ever reggae album. The album features guest appearances from Drake, Chris Brown, Busta Rhymes, Akon, Rita Ora and Miley Cyrus, among. In 2012, Snoop Dogg announced a conversion to the Rastafari movement and a new alias Snoop Lion.
Snoop Dogg’s breakthrough came in 1993 with his debut album “Doggystyle” which debut at No. 1 on both the Billboard 200 and Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs charts. Snoop Dogg sold over a million copies in a week and became certified 4× platinum in 1994.
