0Pitbull – Global Warming Tour 2013
Pitbull will embark on his highly anticipated “Global Warming Tour” and will stop in the UK on August 3rd and August 6th 2013.
The tour is named after Pitbull’s current album, “Global Warming”, which was released worldwide on the 19th November 2012. The album peaked at #14 on the US Billboard chart and reached the #1 position in the US Rap Albums chart. It features songs such as “Don’t Stop The Party”, “Feel This Moment” featuring Christina Aguilera and “Last Night” featuring Havana Brown and Afrojack. “Feel This Moment” is already the third top 10 single from his album and “Back In Time” is expected to do the same since it is the anthem for the new Men in Black 3.
The world tour will span across many countries including the U.S, Canada, UK, Switzerland and Albania amongst others. The UK leg of the tour will see “Mr Worldwide”, as he is known by many of his fans, visit the O2 Academy in Brixton and the O2 Apollo in Manchester. Only two UK shows means that you will certainly have to snap up tickets very soon to ensure that you will be seeing Pitbull in concert! Tickets are on sale now.
History
Pitbull, who was born to Cuban parents in Miami, Florida came to fame with the release of his album “Rebeloution”, which topped the Albums chart in three countries, topped the UK R&B chart and reached #2 on the US Billboard chart. It featured his first well known song “I Know You Want Me” which topped eight worldwide charts and sold 2 million copies in the USA.
Pitbull is known for collaborating with top artists all over the world. In 2011, he released the album “Planet Pit” which included songs such as “Hey Baby” (featuring T-Pain), “International Love” (featuring Chris Brown) and the huge “Give Me Everything” (featuring Ne-Yo, Afrojack and Nayer), which was #1 in 16 charts worldwide and was his first song to top the US Billboard Hot 100. Pitbull is also a record producer, a television presenter and an actor.
